Graduations = one word - Awesome!

Awesome- that is what two recent graduations were! Almost two weeks ago, we were invited to attend the graduation from high school and open house of a young man who I assisted for five years when he was in elementary school. It is hard to describe how wonderful it was to see him walk across the stage and get his diploma and fun to reconnect with him and his family. Then Monday night, I was able to see ten students that I worked with when they were ninth and tenth graders graduate from Westside. This was the first time there was so many of the students I worked with graduating in one year and the first time I attended Westside's graduation. What two wonderful events for an end of my educational assisting days!

Happy Birthday, Jason

Today is Jason's birthday! It seems like just yesterday that we were bringing home this little baby son. Watching him grow through the years into a man with dreams and goals he has accomplished, a family of his own and a path for the future has been such a wonderful and choice blessing to us. He has indeed done a great job in many great areas in his life-in his career, his hard work towards his education, but especially in the raising of his children with our daughter-in-law, Lacey, by his side. Together they are building a wonderful family!

Happy Birthday, Eric!

Twenty-six years ago, a cute little, light hair boy entered our lives. What a blessing Eric has been in our lives. He brought alot of fun and happiness to our family especially to his older siblings who loved to be the big brothers and sister. Eric is and has always been a very generous and loving person, seeing a need or some work that needs done, he is right there to do it. Many times he has given of his time to help his dad with jobs around our home. He does such a great job in studying and applying himself to his studies during this time in his life and staying focused. It has been a wonderful blessing to see and feel his testimony of the gospel and see the way he serves the Lord.

Eric is a great husband to Joy and father to his little daughter, Olivia. It has been fun to watch Eric grow into a father and today he found out that he will have a little son to go along with their little girl. Hope you had a great day!
